We’re delighted to see this current project in Connecticut featured in the New York Times today!  We started on this one last summer and it’s been tremendous pleasure to work with Daryl Hall on his “Little Jewel.” I’ve worked on a lot of historic buildings, and with a lot of people who appreciate them, but Daryl’s knowledge and affection for early Dutch Colonial architecture has made this a really special project. Peter LaBau and I have enjoyed working closely with Daryl and his wife on the design, while the fantastic team at Connor Building in Vermont has provided the specialty millwork and twenty-first century construction techniques that will bring this eighteenth-century house back to life. We’re looking forward to seeing it completed this spring!
